Generally speaking, most of my reading has been scholarship on Buddhism.

I tend not to read anything but scholarship slowly and back to back. But I have read a few sutras, the lotus sutra pretty closely, and a few sastras, the awakening of faith likewise. As well a few zen manuals, Tibetan commentaries, a few Pali sutras and abhidharma texts, and "classic" texts like the Mo-ho Chih-kuan.

I rarely meditate but have received teaching.
