The use of 'I', 'self', 'consciousness' is not a problem where lower/upper-case is used to distinguish between the superficial individual 'I' and the underlying unity. Every 'thing' would be Mind, but Mind would have an origin beyond Mind that is not-a-thing. As Plotinus says, 'Think of it as Mind and you think of it too meanly'. . | |
